December 13, 2022 - Pale garnet, some bricking with rim clearing, unfiltered
Aromatics medium +. Dark plum. Tar. Menthol. Balsamic. Rose.
Palate has a medium body. Acid medium+. Tannins medium+, fine grained. Alcohol medium. Chalky red cherry.
Finish has a medium+ length. Balanced
Great example of a well aged Barolo. Drinking well now. -

April 22, 2015 - Darker fruit character on the nose, a hint of band aid, savoury spices, minerality. On the palate big and powerful, but pretty tight. Firm and grippy tannins, great length. Hard to rate, but promising and will definitely need time. 90-92+(+)
