March 12, 2016 - Opened and poured at Dish, a Sicilian restaurant. Smooth, integrated and just wonderful with some excellent asicilian pasta dishes. Lots of seafood on the menu, but we limited our choice to the grilled calamari, this was sublime with it. A lot like Nebbiolo in mouthfeel and character. Good stuff.

June 30, 2015 - Medium red. Interesting nose, lots of fruit and spice, different than anything in my memory (my first cagnulari). Medium bodied, but nice structure on the palate. Definitely old world style, there was a young Rafanelli zin open as well. Both were superb, and representative of their makers. Nice finish. This grape is worth seeking out.
