    January 6, 2016 - Deep ruby coloured. The nose opens up nicely in the glass showing layers of black and red berries accented with spice, leather and tobacco. Broad and rich with firm tannins. Persistent throughout the palate with good overall poise.

    January 2, 2016 - The colour is attractive, radiant deep ruby with purple rims. The sumptuous nose is showing off the predominant notes of bell pepper, thyme, licorice, oak, smoke, vanilla along with jammy cherries and dark plums. On the front palate, it starts very fruity, pure, fresh and energic, which is however then on the mid-palate followed by a bitterness that it covering up the fruitiness and negatively affects the structure. On the other hand, a unsual ( and surprising) sweetness bursts on the back palate and tolerates its bitterness and the slight dry tannins. At the finish, it fairly tastes like a semi- sweet wine ( off-dry) which makes me think of a considerable amount of residual sugar. By taking this into consideration, it can well match with strong cheeses like roquefort, for example with a grilled steak with roquefort sauce or with any other lamb dishes of Ottoman Cuisine cooked in sweet- spicy and fruity sauces.

    Çekici,parlak derin yakut renkte.Kenarlarında ince mor rim mevcut.Gösterişli ön burunda baskın dolmalık biber,kekik,meyankökü,is,meşe,vanilya aromalarıyla beraber reçelsi kiraz,siyah erik kokuları alınıyor.Şarap damakta gayet meyvemsi,saf,taze ve enerjik başlıyor.Orta damağa doğru ise meyvemsiliği kaplayan bir acımsılık kendini belli edip,şarabın ağız sulandırıcı ve saf yapısını olumsuz etkiliyor.Ancak Arka damağa doğru süpriz biçimde ortaya çıkan tatlımsılık,acımsılığını ve orta seviyede,hafifçe kuru tanenlerini kısmen tolere ediyor.Bitiş tam anlamıyla yüksek residual şeker düşündüren yarı-tatlı tarzda (off-dry).Rokfor gibi keskin aromalı güçlü lezzetli peynirlerle,veya yine rokfor soslu bonfile,osmanlı mutfağından kuru meyveli,baharatlı kuzu yahni ile gayet güzel eşleşebilir.

    October 11, 2015 - Tasted as part of the 2015 Şarap Tutkunları Tasting in İzmir where I was invited as a guest along with Aslı Odman. The tasting panel included Dilek Caner MW, İsa Bal MS and Ayhan Güleyen. The following tasting note and the relevant score belongs to me only.
    Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Shiraz, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc. Saturated ruby. A bright, pronounced nose showing off red and black berries along with spice, leather and a compelling dairy element. Rich, broad and very generous on the palate yet open and riveting. Very youthful and promising.
