July 19, 2017 - Decanted for 2 hours. Nose of red fruits. Palate dominated by red fruit -- mostly cherry -- with slightly drying tannins, and a hefty dose of acidity. May benefit from more cellar time, but afraid that the fruit may fade, making the wine even more tart. OK Barbera, but have had better.

Lovely quality red fruits and violets nose with smoky spicy hints

March 2, 2016 - Medium red color wine with nice acidic touch that is well balanced against the grapes notes. Loads of subtle flavors that are well balanced with just an hint of residual sugar and oak. Solid wine.
