September 11, 2021 - 90/91. Has good aromas of leathery blueberries, gravel hints, flowers+ cassis. An aromatic+tasty elegant linear nicely oaked blue fruits wine with wonderfully satiny texture, lovely freshness and excellent length and nice tannins. 13%. A bit Bourguignon. It would be lovely if it were 10 Euros cheaper. Has lovely finesse!

April 30, 2021 - Next bottle of this "entry level" Pessac,
really fresh appearance right from the start, elegant red fruit core, underlaying secondary aromas, lacking some weight maybe, strong tannin still, good convincing finish,

August 3, 2020 - (8/3/20) I was interested to try this because the 2016 was so enjoyable. This wine was tasted from a 375ml bottle. The blend here was 54% cab franc, 32% merlot, 14% Cabernet Sauvignon. This was a light-bodied and lightly concentrated but juicy and balanced wine with dusty tannins and a good finish. Bright, spicy red fruits were at the fore, and the pyrazines were surprisingly light for such a high percentage of cab franc; 13% (***/15.5/91)

June 30, 2020 - Having tried some "greater" vintages of this Chateau before, wondering if in a good but fresher vintage this will show a difference......,
YES...., and I do like it, structured, with some tannin bite, quiet balanced and lesser alcohol, fresh cherry fruit , red and dark cassis, earthy tones, violets,
real great food pairing, this time a little Entrecôte, buffering the rich flavors of the meat with its lively tannin, good, convincing aftertaste, **(*+ -?), around 90(+)
