October 29, 2023 - This is lovely right now. The oak has melted away completely and what you get is cool, red fruit, (some) fine, chalky tannins and a fresh acidity. Unshowy, in a good way.

September 24, 2023 - A reddish brown and mature fruit on the nose ... The oak seems well integrated and coconut can now be detected through the nose too. Even a bit of teak. The tannin was harsh so I left to to decant and aerate a while. No big bold black new world fruit here. A slatey and medium plus acid I'm the mouth. Some awkwardness still and lacking an oomphy finish. But this is what you get for the price

July 23, 2023 - For under £20 a bottle, this is a real gem. Can't imagine much further change. Oak integrated. Delicious

July 20, 2022 - Last of 6. All consistently good. Seems to have evolved less than I had anticipated when last consumed in 2020. No rush, but it is in a good place now.

January 14, 2022 - Very strong interesting bouquet. Grassy herbs, vanilla old leather shoe no spice and very complex. Moreish. Tastes great, imagine a complexity from the Cabernet franc, smoothness from the merlot, long finish, not much mouth feel but pear drops acidity. Some spice but with caramel. Very lovely mix of weight and warm fruit
