August 3, 2023 - A bit of plum but more black cherry and bitter chocolate. Some green herbs in back. A somewhat hot finish. An acceptable mid rank Bdx, ready now.

March 31, 2023 - Good clean closure. Nice deep ruby colour with a clear rim. Nose very forward now - blackberry, smoky bacon and seashore. Lovely dark fruit palate with nice soft tannin finish. Not the longest finish but great wine now for the price point.

April 9, 2021 - Clean closure. Totally ruby colour - no garnet. Nose is a little blind - generic red fruit if anything. Palate is quite tart with fine grained tannins - the latter very soft. Blueberry, blackberry maybe black cherry. All fruit with no real depth, but very pleasant all the same. Perhaps a little youthful? Will take some time before the next bottle from this case.

November 1, 2020 - At 14% ABV it’s less aggressive on the palate than the California blends I normally drink but it was full enough/balanced to hold up against a pan finished steak filet. In fact, I would probably avoid drinking without pairing it with something. Seems likely it would benefit from aging but is drinking well enough now. Will probably revisit the remaining bottles annually.

September 27, 2020 - Lovely Bordeaux for the price, i'd say better in a few years, but already drinks nicely. Loved it with white cheddar, and with truffle cheese spread.
