  September 10, 2018 - Sampled a glass w my trusty Coravin and aerator. Comparing to my initial 2016 impression: definitely not as tight as when first tried. Rounded, lush and just enough tannin to keep it interesting but not overpowering. Fruit is now more apparent. Great w red meat. Can be drank alone but needs some decant time still..maybe 1 hr?

  October 8, 2016 - Has excellent body for a merlot. Can drink well on its own or pair with just about any meat. I am really glad our friends belong to Girard Winery.

  June 20, 2016 - Decanted 4 hours but I think may need even more time to open up. Still pretty young, tight still despite the decant. Fruit profile is already apparent but overshadowed. Cherry. Good potential!
