July 27, 2018 - IPNC Weekend 2018; 7/26/2018-8/2/2018 (Linfield College, McMinnville, OR): Small glass over an hour. In a better place than the '15, this has nice spice, complex, soil, mineral, ferrous, red cherry, very bright, good tannins, medium bodied, transparent, the fruit may be a little thin in the middle.

Au premier nez, très animal, étonnamment la réduction ferme ce nez. Il faut patienter et l'oxygéner pour faire apparaître la pureté de cerises fraîches et croquantes au nez. En bouche, acidité moyenne +, arômes de fruits frais très expressifs, tannins moyens assez structurants mais pas astringents, c'est fin et frais mais le prix est assez rédhibitoire hélas.
