    July 15, 2023 - Grossartiger C. Franc. Sehr harmonische Säure-Fruchtstruktur.

December 5, 2022 - This, yes this, is Cab Franc expressed at its best. So pure, so true to its origin, small-scale & ethereal. Deep aged red/purple with beautiful purple reflections in the glass. Nose is so alive, so deep & energetic, showing minerality, distinct pepper, smoke & earth, graphite, and lots of currants - both black and red, coffee & licorice. Palate is - as said - ethereal, medium-bodied but with sincere energy and power, dry with ample tannic structure, flavours echoing nose, followed by a spice-driven, dry finish! Stunning!

May 31, 2019 - Has a nose of earth and strawberries. Decanted for 2 hours, and then enjoyed the lifted acidic push of dark fruit (blueberries, dark cherries), herbal notes (including some green pepper), finely textured tannins, and minerality across the palate and on through the long white pepperish finish of this 100% Cab Franc wine from the Piedmont.

Better consumed alongside tomato-based or spicy food, a lesson that keeps repeatedly teaching itself when I drink Cab Franc.

February 1, 2018 - this is a really well made wine, smooth balanced, nice acidity. Brad says he would give it a 96. I really liked wine, but the taste was not worthy (for me) to give it a much higher rating. No question on quality.
If you like cab franc give it a try.

July 22, 2017 - First red wine at Table #3 at Oakton Wine Shops Bucket List Tasting.

Deep garnet red. Lots of earthy and cherry notes on the nose. Medium plus tannins (6.5/10) and medium bodied. Layered palate with dark berries, dark crushed rocks, black pepper, and bell peppers. Solid acidity with a long and lingering finish. Definitely will beef up with some time and a big food wine. Drink till 2029.

Aged for 40 months in 50% new French oak barriques.
