November 11, 2022 - A perfectly executed Spätlese Trocken. Nose of intoxicating orchard and tropical fruits and minerals, and a palate with restrained white and yellow stone fruit and perfect, yes perfect, acidity and minerality. This was paired with an American steakhouse-style dinner and a was splendid companion, actually complementing the flavors better than the claret served alongside. Outstanding.

October 27, 2021 - Really expressive nose on opening though the palate needed an hour to open up, was quite flabby at first. After that is was really nice, round stone fruit, medium acidity, fairly full bodied. FWIW night 2 it was a bit disjointed with weird acidity and bitterness.

October 23, 2021 - Every time I taste a wine from this producer, they climb up my list of greatest white wine makers. Light gold with a hint of green. The nose is multi-layered: mango, lime zest, cooked honey and hot rocks. Rich feel for Riesling. Deeply intense, lots of extract, maturing yet fresh. Will drink well for another 10 years. I like this. Great value. (93)

July 24, 2015 - Clean and clear with a medium intens lemon greene colour. Developing.

On the nose its clean, medium intens with aromas of: passionfruit, peach, tropical fruits like mango and pinapple, lime, red mature apples, cocos and white fruits like lychee. Developing

On the palate its high(but barely) aciddity, medium %, medium+ body and flavour intensity. Aromas alot like the nose with stonefruit, peach, mango, lime, very enjoyable mineral structure, greene apples. It seemed more ripe on the nose than the palate. Medium+ lenght

This is a very good quality wine with a potential for keeping at least 5 years. Its very well balanced, intense and concentrated, but the thing that impresses me the most is the complexity. Fruity round and structured finish. 91-92p
