April 24, 2024 - Decanted for 45 minutes before service - 3-5 hours would have been better, but these things happen. In the glass, clear medium red at the rim, shading gracefully to dark opaque red at the core. On the nose, unripe cherries, damp wood, and a hint of asphalt. On the palate, relatively tight, with a spine of cherry throughout what is otherwise a pretty tannic wine. The secondary notes of wet stone, oak, and tar give me hope that several more years in the cellar will be beneficial.

December 22, 2023 - Floral, bitter red fruit, rust and smooth. Quite linear and precise. Delicious and drinking well now.

September 20, 2023 - Enjoyed over a long afternoon and evening. Moderate bricking.

Savory and earth, on the bouquet and palate. Dried fruits, worn leather, deciduous forest sous-bois, live herbs, cured meats, loam, and mineral ore notes throughout. Noteworthy secondary elements.

The wine features serious acid and deceptive, powdery tannins. Based on this experience, recommend holding for three to five years. Interesting sipper, better with food.

July 16, 2023 - Amazing nose, hard to capture all the elements of it. Cherries, espresso, oud wood, almonds, tar, grilled meat (from charcoal grill), roses, cardamom and so on and so on.
Palate is energetic and elegant with outstanding balance and length. This is drinking so well at this stage. 93/94
