February 29, 2024 - This was a „pirate“ in a Montestefano vertical. Open and radiant, slightly warmer and riper, with notes of deep dark red fruit, also some herbal notes, minerality, some spices too. It‘s medium-full bodied, with medium-high tannin and some medium+ acidity, as well as medium-full body. Good finish. A little less complex than the best wines, but open and ready to drink. I wouldn‘t push my luck on aging though. There was a touch of oxidation with some more time in the glass.

Combination of ripe black and bitter cherry fruit supported by excellent acidity and little remaining tannin. This is harmonious, flows beautifully, and is drinking extremely well now even if it is not the final word in Nebbiolo subtlety or weightlessness.

November 19, 2022 - This seems typical Barbaresco, but I wasn't particularly impressed by it. There is serious tannic grip, some cherry, earth, and the wine feels a bit alcoholic. This needs more time, but it will never be my favourite.
