Community Tasting Notes 4

September 6, 2021 - Started off mid weight and thinned with air to a welterweight of lemon and mineral. Quite lovely and reminiscent of muscadet.

October 20, 2019 - A rather belated note (6 months on). This is a very skillful hommage to a classic Hunter Valley Semillon - indeed better than most in my expreience, Delicious and will last.

October 5, 2016 - Six nations tasting (49 King Street Wharf): Slightly cheesy and funky over apples…juicy with fresh apple notes, okay

May 23, 2015 - Pop & pour at cellar temp. Clear pale gold. Grassy herbal notes on the nose with some floral hints. Beautiful aromatics. Light to medium bodied. This shows a mix of melon & exotic fruit balanced by an almost saline minerality. This picks up a savory character as it warms. Rare creatures indeed. Lovely bottle of Semillon.
