  November 13, 2015 - Wasnt expecting much from this bottle given last one I had. double decanted 2 hours before dinner with wine industry mates. We were all blown away. Great fruit, soft tannins, long finish. Served it blind against a 98 stonewell (also excellent), 02 Turkey Flat shiraz and an italian Nebiolo. Have 2 bottles left and if one of them is still good, it should hold for at least a few more years with no problem. excellent bottle of wine

  February 1, 2013 - Wine has slightly bitter front palate. Thought it was closed by same next day. Fruit has thinned out. Past its prime. Disappointing. Drink up if you have any

  March 2, 2008 - Sensational wine. Ruby red. Predominantly secondary characters on the nose - leather, new car and red berries. Palate is sumptuosly sweet with more berries and vanillin oak. Smooth mouthfeel with silky tannins. Tastes far younger than its 17 yrs - at least another five in this.

  June 13, 2005 - Rockford Vertical (Sydney, Australia): Seemed quite a bit younger than the 1990. Very good structure and mouthfeel with good fruit richness. Will develop positively for a fair few more years.
