May 15, 2006 - What a surprise! This Colorado cab was impressive. Dark ruby color; warm berry cobbler, cherry, peach, vanilla, cedar, cinnamon, and an earthy well-integrated toasty oak taste. Has a light body and good mouth feel; a bit flabby and somewhat of a quick finish. It's no Screaming Eagle, but hey, it blows some other California cabs away. If this was a blind tasting, I would never believe it was from Colorado.
