December 26, 2016 - This is a solid value bottle. While not smooth, there's good value for the sparkle and a fresh nose. Off dry with some yeast and sweetness.

March 21, 2016 - Deep straw color with medium perlage. Nose of honey crisp apples, almonds, lees, and sweet meyer lemons with some mineral overtones of chalky limestone. Palate was on spot with the nose, bringing good acidity and a nice minerally dry finish. So good with food and for 10$ its hard to go wrong.

January 9, 2016 - Sam's 35th Birthday (El Ideas: Chicago, IL): Great QPR. Can't go wrong with a wonderful sparkling that costs less than $10. Dry, with nice tight bubbles. Some flavors of toasted almonds/nuts. Not super complex, but still wonderful. There's a reason Thomas Jefferson had so many bottles in his cellar.

January 2, 2016 - The wine looks straw colored. The legs are fast. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like mineral, biscuity and almond. It tastes like almond, biscuity, leesy, mineral and lemon.
