August 14, 2022 - Nice nose & palate, showing cherry & pomegranate, black tea, strawberry, vanilla, and a faint flowery note, with light tannins and medium, but full finish.

March 26, 2021 - Drinks well after 30 minutes, scents of forest, soy and dried cherries start off, the palate is dry with high acid and softened tannin, energetic red fruit, mushroom and blueberry flavors are carried through the mouth leading to a refreshing finish, good with Japanese teriyaki chicken

December 25, 2018 - Huh, couldn't be more different from the 12. Excellent acidity, but muted aromatics. Doesn't show oaky to me, but good soft cranberry and soft tannin on the finish.

March 3, 2018 - A reflection of a questionable vintage, the wine was okay. Did have a harsh, almost too oaky, presence. Fruit was slightly too dry. Not in great balance. Doubt the wine will get better with age.

May 24, 2017 - medium light red. After .5 hour, light aromas of cherry 7-up, subtle oak, and chinese 5-spice. Cherry, sharp frontside, a little jagged, medium bodied, oak well in check, fresh, just a touch of underbrush, with tart cherries and a worchester hit on the medium length finish. ETA, night 2, this kind of fell apart. stale dough and flat.
