July 5, 2019 - rounding into shape with long length and still with a nice integrated structure
note to self: no cdp if not at least 10-15 yrs old

February 3, 2019 - Still surprisingly tight and muted, needed an hour of air to come out. And still this is not super expressive the way Mont Olivet with age can be. The fruit is light red with notes of white pepper, elegance and finesse here. But no olives, herbs, oomph. I would give this a few more years.

October 15, 2016 - Was leery about expectations but what a wonderful CdP, just the right balance of earth and cherries, bold on the front yet smooth on the finish with a slight plum aftertaste. Wish I had more bottles. Drink now or before ~ 2018. Cheers.

December 23, 2015 - Relatively light colour with brick on the rim. Traditional Pape in the nose; wet earth, smoked bacon, dark-red fruits, licorice, dried figs and some lemon zest as well as dried orange to complete. Medium bodied on the (traditional Pape) palate with red fruit, earth and dried orange notes. Enough fruits and body for another 2 years; drink before 2018.

December 20, 2013 - Good, not great. Tight, typical - of the vintage, of the domaine. Lots of olives, herbs dominates, lacks generosity. Better with food, but I still feel I should have drunk this earlier ... while still very well balanced, it is close to actually drying out in the aftertaste.
