January 27, 2018 - Very good friendly and delicious. Alcohol is high at 14.4 and is evident as soon as you poor. Thin meniscus and somewhat transparent ruby color. Paired with a truffle and mushroom risotto. The food brought out the herbal notes in the wine and the wine highlighted the truffle. Some dark cherry fruit lingers on a long finish.
