January 29, 2018 - Very consistent notes, an exceptional bottle from a challenging year.

January 9, 2017 - Ok, to be truthful every time I drink one of these I go in thinking "All right, sort of an off-bottling for CC, bad year (11'), just hope for the best". And every time I've been VERY surprised! This bottle drank very well, even with little to no decanting time. Typical CC blue fruit, huge and at a few years old the tannin is definitely rounding out. Excellent acid balance, with little to no wood, let alone toast that I could sense - it didn't seem to need it! (Or possibly it was so integrated I really couldn't discern it) . In spite of myself and my incorrect pre- conceptions, this is simply a SOLID bottle of wine!

May 20, 2015 - Typical of a 2011, lighter style, but good balance, flavor a little muted.
