April 11, 2017 - Very good effort for a California red blend. Lots of soft red fruit with some spice. No obvious oak/vanilla. Will it improve in the years to come?

December 20, 2016 - They're not advertising the varietals in this blend but I'm guessing mostly Syrah and petite sirah. At least that's the way the palate unfolds with a Syrah type blackberry and bush attacked and followed by blue fruit. Not bad. There's angular tannins, probably the petite as a foundation. OK

November 17, 2016 - Disclaimer: when drinking, I had a cold and couldn't draw as much from it as I normally can.

Temperature was 69F and the bottle was aerated, decanted and given 30m to breathe.

Color was a deep reddish to purple with light purple edges. The legs were long.

On the nose there were red fruits and a bit of sweetness / alcohol.

On the palette there was more red fruit, cherry in particular and a nice amount of sweetness. There was a bit of alcohol and acidity showing some tiny balance flaws IMO. Not much complexity but a pleasant roundness in the mouth.

It reveals French oak on the finish. Nice tannins and vanilla with moderate length. Nice QPR if you can find ~$17.

March 31, 2016 - Mouth filling, cherry and clear red color. Tannins add a nice finish.
