October 15, 2016 - The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are medium. There is moderate sediment in the bottle. It smells like blackberry and black currant (cassis). It tastes like black currant (cassis) and blackberry. The body is medium/full. The wine has smooth texture. The wine finishes short. The wine has low acidity. Needs some time opened or decant.

November 13, 2015 - Earthy, musky, just ok. Enjoyed at Riverhead Aquarium Fish and Sips Wine tasting. Great time!

October 27, 2015 - From a warm-weather Superstorm Sandy vintage. Medium ruby color. Aromatic, violets on the nose. Rich, thick, full-bodied. On the palate, plums, blue/black berries, olives, a little chocolate. Soft tannins, medium acidity, medium (+) finish. Larger than usual Long Island Merlot. Give it some air and enjoy!
