  July 30, 2021 - Accomasso Tasting plus some great Barolo Pirates (Freiheit Vinothek, Ulm, Germany): *** all wines tasted blind ***
  Glass: Zwiesel 1872 Moment Pinot
  Clear, medium garnet color with orange rim. Oxidized nose, Marsala, lovage, medicinal notes.
  Some extract sweetness, high acidity, fine tobacco and dried petals, very complex taste, but unfortunately lots of oxidative notes. Gone.

  July 5, 2021 - Sensual nose of rose petals, thyme, lavender and dried mushrooms. Incredibly mouthfeel and finish. Tannins were resolved and we’ll integrated. This wine drank young, but showed secondary and tertiary notes of dried flowers and forest floor. Just an awesome experience. Highly recommend. +++

On the palate, it was lean with dried spices, berries and a hints of volatility. The finish was shorter than expected and a bit muddled.

  October 13, 2016 - At first opening this was a bit stewed and ripe with prune notes, but good example of a wine that showed much more character and depth with food (bone marrow and a pork terrine). The volatility also quieted down after 20 min in glass. If you find a better bottle than ours, this should be extraordinary.
