July 14, 2015 - Very dark straw color. Decent legs, but doesn't look as thick as it is. Really pretty nose of honeysuckle and a hint of lanolin. Smells rich. Lovely palate, full bodied, rich, full-flavored, with a good dollop of floral fruit held well in check with bracing acidity. This cries out for a rich cream sauce over poultry. 4-12-15-8: 89/100.

June 4, 2015 - Good rich wine, thick, full; light yellow-gold in color. Rich, full fruit in the nose, honeyed and tropical, fairly exotic. Excellent presence in the mouth, full-bodied, rich, seems to have gone through full malolactic but is not the worse for it. Really well made wine that is drinking fabulously now. 4-12-17-9: 92/100.
