December 24, 2023 - Full bodied, gobs of blackberry, cassis, spring flowers, toast with fabulous texture and intensity. Definitely not light on its feet. 97+ Paired well with BBQ prime rib-eye steaks.

October 1, 2023 - Beautiful Napa cab but just not my style. I would have though it shed some baby fat at 10 years old but no. Unbalanced by the thick viscous candied black cherries, kirsch, and chocolate. Tannic structure has just not shown itself as of yet. Too sweet and thick. Reminds me of caymus or cade style of winemaking.

June 30, 2023 - Pop and pour. At the age of 10, this is still as rich, velvety and intense as before but the terroir has sharpened into focus with a gorgeous integration of earth and fruit. I love to see wines of this style age well! Bravo Russell and team.

December 31, 2022 - Spectacular - drink now, nice primary / secondary flavor balance, just gorgeous. Could smell the glass from 5 feet away. Very viscous, I'd not bet on this one at it's peak for more than a year or two no matter how you prefer your cabs aged.
