  April 1, 2021 - Decanted about an hour. Dark and inky. The fruitiness of the raspberry others have noted is gone, but matured into something deeper. Smooth tannins. Yum

  March 16, 2019 - Wine tasted over a week ago, tasting notes a bit hazy. Deep purple garnet colour, with rich dark fruit aromas ( dark cherries, blackberries ...). Fruit favours with a hint of cedar, medium acidity and tannins. Paired well with BBQ steak and pizza.

  December 1, 2018 - This bottle had some juice peeking from the sleeve. It was sticky so i wasn't sure when it had happened. The cork was purple on top. I dont think it had been over filled. It actually turned out ok after opening but I'm not sure how much longer it could go normally because of that.

  June 12, 2018 - Less interesting than my last bottle. You can tell that very soon the 2013 LFNG Syrah will evolve from pure primary notes to a lot more tertiary. Based on my experience with this wine (since 2008), this is much better in the first 5 years.
