May 27, 2015 - Little of the fresh fruit and peppery qualities I love about CF here. Character rather absent, lots of ripe black fruits and an earthy background that seemed to be a similar mould to Carmenere or Merlot. The American oak is what kills it for me, replacing spice with a dull international-style vanilla. Probably designed to be a crowd pleaser, but this one falls flat for me.
