  February 19, 2017 - This bottle was given to me by a good friend who now lives in Puglia, so I had high expectations and I was not disappointed. Expecting it to be a big wine, 14.5% alcohol, I chose it to partnet a roast pork dish with chorizo and bean tomato casserole. It was a great match! Opemed 3 hours. On the nose there's black cherries and cedar with a hint of sloes. Almost black in colour, this is big in the mouth, velvety and smooth, with dark berry fruits evolving into earthy flavours. Quite long on the palate. The dark chocolate on the finish is a bonus.
