August 9, 2017 - When I pulled off the capsule, it looked like the cork was a little dry with a crack in it. I was nervous, because I've been excited to have this wine. I opened it, and it smelled like sour apple juice and vinegar. In examining the bottom of the cork, there were more cracks and grayish slimy mold. I didn't taste it because the smell was very overpowering and bad. So disappointed. I'm not sure if it was my fault with storage, because I have had this bottle for quite some time. I don't have a proper cellar, so it's possible the climate was too dry.

July 3, 2015 - The oak is as I remembered it, not overpowering. The prominent citrus and lime finish is still the highlight. It is a fine option, although I think there are likely better options at this price point.

July 2, 2014 - The oak isn't overpowering but it is buttery and smooth with a prominent citrus, lime finish.
