March 31, 2016 - A lot of wine for the $11.11 paid on @WineDeals. This is the 70% Tannat / 30% Cab bottling. Yes, there are the tannins you'd expect from the combination of these two grapes, and it will only get better over the next five years. Still, I found it quite approachable now for what it is. Very intriguing wine with lots of depth and longevity of flavor. Would be hard to find a U.S. wine at this price that comes close to it (on those measurements at least). So savory and cedar-y and dark-fruit laden. Lovely.
