November 30, 2023 - Once it has some air to mellow it out this is absolutely spectacular. More elegant/refined as opposed to powerful but checks all the boxes for a well crafted BdM with some age.

January 21, 2016 - Benvenuto Brunello - Walk Around Tasting (Drake Hotel - Chicago IL): Tasting, brief note. Another very successful 2010 Riserva tasted today. Starts with rich fruit, but a minerality and subtlety comes through very quickly that provides a real reserve. Complex finish of spice, fruit and structure that I'd really like to revisit in a decade+. Very good potential.
