May 20, 2020 - Sadly. A bit too late for that one, 21 years is good to drink alcohol in some countries, or go to a club, but here ... it has lots of nice scents of honey, flowers and more but the palate is not any sweet anymore, nor very tart, juts a well balanced wine with nice flavours of aged flowers... must have been we some 5/10 years from now...

September 27, 2015 - I just love this wine - accessed via Coravin, orange/copper in colour - on the palate orange peel, honey, enjoyable slight oxidative notes. Such a treat to have a glass on its own, but this sure is a killer pairing for foie gras... Love it!

August 20, 2015 - I fully echo SWYANG's tasting note. I had a glass of this 3 years ago and thought it was great then, enjoyed another glass from Coravin yesterday and it is a beauty. If kept under perfect conditions this should prove the a quasi immortal white wine. I must admit that I was not too kind to it storage wise over the last years and it still showed itself in perfect spirit very much akin to my memories from a couple years' back. A beauty!

December 30, 2013 - Stunning wine!~ Never have I found a better matching wine for a half cooked home made foie gras. It is complexe, the residual sugar totally melted in the half sweet, half dried, lots of flower, spice and honey waxe, and yet super mineral. On the palate it is echoing endlessly as if we were listening to a beautiful symphony on a magnificent hall. The next morning bitter orange, with laser cut acidity remained and the whole experience was uplifting.

January 6, 2007 - Birthday lunch at the Capital (The Capital Restaurant, Capital Hotel, London): Mid to quite deep good. Hints of botytis on the nose, certainly very ripe. Semi-sweet attack with a drier somewhatmineraly mid palate before some acidity on the finish. Not unlike a Loire Chenin moelleaux in some ways. Good accompaniment to richly sauced fish. Interesting wine. Certainly not classic burgundy but I think it works well with food. Good.
