December 8, 2017 - What a big wine! Full-on, somewhat medicinal nose with a little bit of alcoholic heat on it. Full-on in the mouth as well. Sweet, slightly raisiny fruit. Very good length, but a bit hot there as well. Tannins well and truly resolved. If you hadn't already noticed, this style of wine isn't really my thing. I'm sure some will like it, but I'm not so keen. Not sure there's any rush to drink it.

November 27, 2016 - Deep red with a hint of bricking. Plum with a hint of cedar on the nose. Silky mouthfeel with beautiful blue fruit and a limestone hint. The finish hits late and lasts with ample fruit and still well rounded tannins. Drinking well now, maybe 4 more years max.

September 5, 2016 - Very sweet fruit on the entry, then a brambly component kicks in with some firm tannins behind it. Liked it best with food.

July 1, 2016 - Cedar and bramble fruits on the nose. Silky texture with a good depth of flavour on palate. Very long with fully resolved tannins, notes of meaty black fruits and a touch of eucalyptus. Little floral character on the finish, it’s drinking very well now, but has plenty of life left.

July 18, 2015 - Nose: Cedar. Color: Inky brownish red. Taste: Bing cherry, cinnamon bark, cassis, eucalyptus, a little black coffee. Finish: Sustained with spice.
