April 6, 2016 - A recommendation from our waitress at a small "bistrot" in Montepulciano. Wow, what an amazing wine! A clear purple in the glass. Nose of rose petals and violets. The Vino Nobile displays exceptional depth and finesse on the palate, layering blueberries, violets, plums and a hint of smoke upon chewy tannins, medium plus acid, a full body and a sweet enticing finish. This modestly priced wine punches well above its weight.
