March 2, 2022 - Still young and needed some decanting before it started to open up with nice fruits and vanila oak aromas on the nose. Full body, fruity, medium acidity and medium tannin on the palate. Smooth chewy mouthfeel and nice to drink now. Tannins still dorminated the rather medium finish. Good but not excellent merlot predominant SE wine.

December 24, 2020 - Decanted for 3 hours, rebottled and corked for later in the evening. It was quite delightful and held up well to prime rib roast or just drinking in it’s own.

June 24, 2020 - Quite an uninspiring second wine. Too modern in style. Balanced, soft tanins, moderate length and not very complex. A very ordinary wine, yet not bad.

November 19, 2019 - Seriously earthy nose of dark fruit, forest floor, truffle and raw mushroom, somewhat muted palate of blackberry and stewed plum, leather and cassis, very minimal oak, gentle, rounded tannins, medium finish.

October 29, 2019 - Some evolution already showing on day two. The owner of Pavie and several others. And he is a living legend in Bordeaux. Dark earth, full bodied, and powerful.
