August 1, 2022 - Beau mariage de note terreuses, de tanins finement granulaires, fruit frais à lavant plan.
    Très beau vin.

April 25, 2019 - Donatella Cinelli Colombini dinner (RPM Italian, Chicago, IL): Nose: The nose is complex, aromatic, and feminine, filled with violets, dust, dark red cherries, raspberries, licorice, red berries, leather, earth tones, and roasted herbs. There is excellent depth and elegance already at this nascent stage along with a real savoriness too.

Taste: The feel is Medium+ bodied with refreshing, medium+ acidity and silky, high tannins. The structure is quite youthful and while the tannins are silky, they also possess good grip to let you know its young. Beneath the structure lies a gorgeous feel along with dust, earth tones, violets, dark red cherries, raspberris, licorice, savory notes, and roasted herbs.

Overall: Though this is an extremely young Brunello, it is also an outstanding one already. It can certainly benefit from a good 7+ years and it has plenty of stuffing to go 20+ years to fully show how special it can be.

January 17, 2017 - The nose was deep and intense with luscious, ripe blackberry fruit tones backed by notes of sweet herbs and dusty florals. On the palate, I found an almost-juicy persona with vibrant yet silky textures showcasing black and red berries with savory mineral tones. It finished long and textural on sweet spice and cherry liquor.

January 17, 2017 - Benvenuto Brunello 2017 (NYC): A very good blend of wild berries, plums, and a deft touch of wood. Full bodied, long wine. A very good effort.
