June 25, 2022 - In the decanter 3 hours prior to drinking. Ruby/garnet, very slight bricking around the hue. Black and blue fruits are a little restrained with a little prettiness from the mataro skins. Low acid, mild and soft tannins, very easy drinking. Think this is in its window, can’t see it improving. A crowd pleaser.

March 18, 2017 - There is a line of continuity here. This is more closed, more tight and, without some serious agitation, more reduction on this puppy. With that agitation the elements of the 2007 are there but more angular and pointy. It's a bit young for my taste but the boys can see it's attractiveness

August 8, 2015 - Sydney good food and wine show (Olympic Park, Homebush, Sydney): polished oak, vanilla, cream black cherry, sweet spice…more of the same on the palate with chocolate and slightly drying tannins. Nice.
