Community Tasting Notes 7

    July 27, 2019 - Delicious

  • GAT Likes this wine: 89 points

November 11, 2018 - Attractive wine for the table. Finishing it after eating found a tannin character which seems to need yet more time.

  • WilliamMP Likes this wine: 91 points

August 15, 2018 - Astounding VFM. Admirable winemaking. Fresh, structured, restrained...dare I say elegant? For Barossa, yes. A marriage of new world ripeness and old world attitude.

1st day: A complete smoked meat fest, high tannin, blind I would call ripe N-Rhone.

2nd: Tense, structured, M+ Tans, brooding dark fruit, spice and old leather.

3rd: Harmony, sweet potpourri spice, subtle old oak, dried plum, palate of earth, old leather, dried dark cherry, creamy cut with fresh acidity and M Tans.

    £12 no-brainer.

    May 1, 2018 - Great wine.

  • GAT Likes this wine: 90 points

August 30, 2017 - Lovely. Dimming a little on Day 2 despite care.
