March 31, 2023 - It’s been a long time since we crossed paths with these wines so we could not but order a bottle out of the quirky list of Le Mermoz, Paris.
Maybe at this stage is past its best . Albeit the wine is very pretty in a way , earthy and with nice fruit it sort of glides away into obscurity and leaves no real memory. Interesting but no more than a 90.

October 28, 2021 - Mature, deeply earthy. An easy wine to enjoy even if rather simple.

September 24, 2019 - A pretty forward and complex nose. Dark berry and cherry fruit, asian spices, plum, cedar, and tar on the nose. On the palate it is broad and deep, large framed but very well balanced. Rich, yet pretty detailed and without any fatness. This is bigger and a little too heady for my personal preference, but this is very well made stuff in a pretty forward style. I've not a had a wine like this before, but it comes across like a mix between grenache, lagrein, and a larger framed Cru Bojo. Long on the finish and if I were to pick nits, it feels a little hot on the back end. Outstanding in its mode and drinking at what seems like early to mid peak. If you enjoy larger framed wines, you will like it more than me

April 24, 2019 - Out of Magnum-Loved this wine. The balance is impeccable...lovely ref fruits, spice and Corsican garrigue. Great acidity and perfect with our dinner. I will hold my other magnums, but everyone loved this last night!

November 17, 2018 - On the day I opened the wine I gave it a 2 hour slo-o. The wine exhibited a gorgeous translucent red hue a muted bouquet and raw, light-bodied palate. After about 45 minutes nothing had changed. I put the cork back in and put in the refrigerator where it stayed for two days before I removed it, and let it slo-o for 4 hours. What a metamorphosis. The light bodied raw wine now had an enticing fruity bouquet and a round and delicious palate and had taken on some much needed weight. It finished with considerable length. I intend to let my remaining bottles sleep in the cellar for a couple of years.
