December 20, 2016 - Actually improved some from last time. Full body, somewhat more balanced. Earthy notes not as pronounced. Lots of burnt toast flavors and dark fruits. Give it a good aeration before drinking. Better with food.

May 2, 2014 - Some earth and funk that stays on similar to many Brunellos. Mixed red and black fruit, dusty. Some tartness and drying tannins on the finish. Probably peaking at this time so not much more improvement to expect. Decent with food but expected a bit more for the price point and with this level of age.

very little fruit notes left but what there was was a very pleasant cherry balanced against a very earthy, restrained palate. A little funk on the nose as well. -
