    March 6, 2022 - Delicious

December 11, 2021 - Aroma: dried cherries, blackberries, dried figs, tobacco, lemon, menthol and leather.
Palate: strawberries, cherries, lemon, soft tannins, decent amount of acidity with a medium length finish. This is a fruit forward wine. Paired with a wild mushroom pizza with lemon which softened the wine and made it very enjoyable. Also paired with a Caesar salad and it brought out the vibrancy of the wine. I think lemon is key to food pairing. A very nice wine! Better on day 1. 92

May 16, 2021 - Muted nose - may need to warm up. Black cherry, cherry cola, chocolate, coffee, raspberry - evolves to a tart raspberry and cherry midway.

p.s. random pairing but lemon goat cheese shrimp over gemelli pasta with Italian salad.

March 24, 2021 - Deep, dark brooding wine with black cherry fruit and noticeable wood tannin. Amazed at 14.4% abv from this west of west vineyard.

October 22, 2020 - Lunch at Hua Yu Wee, courtesy of Chef D. Popped and aired in bottle 1+ hour beforehand. Drank over 2 hours. Drank in Gabriel Standart.
Appearance is clear, medium intensity, purplish ruby colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of sweet spices, ripe red cherries, redcurrant, violets, red plums - getting a bit more raisinated with air. Developing.
On the palate, dry, medium+ acidity, medium+ alcohol (14.4%), smooth medium tannins, medium+ going on full body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of sweet spices, cherry cola, ripe red cherries, sweet raisinated plums, redcurrant, some salinity. Long spicy finish.
Very good quality. Very well-made US Pinot Noir, but I do not see any La Tache connection or resemblance at all, sorry RP. Many drinkers may like this. I must say this is no longer my preferred style of Pinot Noir. Can age, but I am unsure how this will turn out.
