November 22, 2022 - Served blind. Wow this is tasty and full bodied with such depth and Elegance. There is so much in there but what struck me the most was the seamless palate.

July 22, 2022 - I didn't love this 2010. It's perhaps the only Ledru wine I've had where I felt the dosage didn't fit the wine. It lacks the delightful spiced golden fruit this wine typically shows, feeling a bit generic.

June 4, 2022 - Q2 2022 Wine Club: Grower Champagne (The Apt): Wine #4: A wine that is perhaps now costing more than it really should. I was quite excited to try as I've never had this producer and all of the wines that she will make are out in the world. I suspect if buying this for the price tag it sold out when she was alive it would have been a truly lovely champagne. At this point it's just marked up too much (not terribly far from the Selosse price) and I don't think it holds as well. It's a bit oxidized and a bit nutty and a bit of brioche and again an interesting wine but without quite so many different layers of depth. (3 pennies)

January 4, 2021 - Medium golden color. Explosive and full of tension, this is showing notes of red berries, a touch of bruised apple, brioche, some blood orange zest, there is also a touch of flowers. Medium-full bodied, pretty structured, with pretty high acidity providing cut. Long finish with good complexity. Another lovely wine from Mme Ledru that combines the slightly rustic but beautiful house-style with excellent tension and good aromatic complexity.

September 22, 2020 - blind: I thought this might be a big house bottle and probably 100% pinot noir.

Slight brioche aromas and a hint of nuttiness and oxidation on the attack. A bit of berry and then tart fruit at the finish.

i just found this interesting to play with over the evening and I liked the flavors.
