March 4, 2024 - Nose: medium intensity with aromas of blackberry, strawberry, vanilla and chemical.

Palate: dry wine with high acidity and high tannins. Full body, medium(+) intensity with aromas of petrolium, arrak, licorice, black cherry and blackberry.

    Supertrevligt moget vin!

August 30, 2023 - Not much changed in the year from my 2022 note; still quite interesting but perhaps waning: I’d drink up any left now (my last one).

May 27, 2022 - Garnet in glass, medium body. Nose of tea, raspberry, redcurrant, wild strawberry and a bit of mushroom, dry herb and smoke. Taste - high acidity, high tannin, dry, firm, chewy cedar, dried red fruit - cranberry, redcurrant. Interesting Nebbiolo. Needs food.

July 17, 2020 - Medium garnet. Bright red fruit (redcurrant, strawberry), violet, rose, leather, tea-leaf, spice, earth, smoke. Developing. Dry palate, high acidity, high fine tannins, quite firm but well integrated, med+ alcohol, med body, med+ finish. Opens out with decanting and time with air.
Very good quality Nebbiolo, can be drunk now but suitable for further ageing. Still only £24 from the Wine Society - great QPR for an 11 year old wine of this quality.
