Palate: dry wine with high acidity and high tannins. Full body, medium(+) intensity with aromas of petrolium, arrak, licorice, black cherry and blackberry.

May 27, 2022 - Garnet in glass, medium body. Nose of tea, raspberry, redcurrant, wild strawberry and a bit of mushroom, dry herb and smoke. Taste - high acidity, high tannin, dry, firm, chewy cedar, dried red fruit - cranberry, redcurrant. Interesting Nebbiolo. Needs food.

Very good quality Nebbiolo, can be drunk now but suitable for further ageing. Still only £24 from the Wine Society - great QPR for an 11 year old wine of this quality. -
