June 28, 2019 - A little funky on opening, but this largely blew off. Feels closed, if only because the palate is so lacking in defining features. It doesn't have the impression of purity of other Sunier wines, nor does it have the mineral backbone/depth I associate with Morgon nor the overt fruitiness I associate with younger Bojo. Hmm.

January 19, 2019 - Popped and poured. Light ruby color. Nose shows a bit of meaty stank over a bed of cranberries and flowers. Definitely more earthy than fruity but I am enjoying that. Tart red fruit on the palate with more meaty flavors and a hint of green stem. Medium acid and tannin. A bit thin on the midpalate but otherwise very enjoyable.
