  November 30, 2013 - This was an excellent bottle of bubbly. Presented nicely with some nice apple and pear fruit, a bit of yeast and brioche. Fine bubbles that lasted and lasted. Seemed to be a bit better when it was colder (out of the fridge).

  December 8, 2012 - San Diego WineSpectator.com Offline, 12/8/2012 (Carlsbad, California): Tasted blind along with seven other sparkling wines ranging from $10-35. 63% chardonnay, 37% pinot noir. Very similar to another excellent non-California domestic sparkler, the Gruet from New Mexico. Nice profile of bread dough, apple, pear, lemon, white grapefruit. My #2, group's THIRD PLACE.

  October 10, 2011 - Bubbly and a little sweet. Lots of apple flavor and some interesting minerality on the midpalate. Vaguely reminds me of Dr. Brown's cel-ray soda.
