April 8, 2022 - Wow, this is all golden raisin and cheese rind flavors, with crazy mouthfilling concentration and length. Not my favorite flavors - this feels almost as ripe as 2003 Dom, and wonder if this might have seen a little too much malo. But it is impressive as a freak.
This fell off a bit overnight, and based on this showing I believe the wine is at or slightly past peak. However based on previous experiences I suspect this bottle (acquired recently) may have been advanced. -

March 28, 2019 - Nose: The nose is extremely aromatic and deep, filled with crushed rocks, lots of warm dough, baked bread, torched pears, red apples, berries, and yellow florals.
Taste: Mediuiml bodied with high acidity. The acidity is beautifully integrated, yet still quite present. While the feel is richer, it has grace and refinement to it with crushed rocks, warm dough, torched pears, red apples, berries, and yellow florals.
Overall: This is tremendous. If one likes more pronounced autolytic characteristics, this is for you. While there is clearly that influence, there is a lovely roundness to the fruit that melts well together.
