August 9, 2021 - Nez de notes terpéniques à l’ouverture. Fruits noirs, réglisse, épices. A l’aération, le vin montre son potentiel de garde et sa finesse, évoquant garrigue et mûres suivis de sous-bois léger. Un joli vin pour des grillades de bœuf ou encore mieux un civet de sanglier au vin. 93

December 31, 2019 - Nice plum color, smells of spice and tobacco. Tangy with olives, raspberries, and a savory component on opening but more fruit came forward after the first hour. More comments on Day 2. Great on day 3!

April 17, 2016 - We had this as a pirate wine in a Rhône tasting at it was very clear that this was the hermitage... well, even if it was coonfused with the stony and dark Northern Rhône, I would say, that it has a character of its own. The wine was endlessly mineral and had a lovely dark fruit interplay. We decanted about 4 hours in advance, which might be the minimum at this point of time. Far greater than anything except for some grand Rhône maybe. Have to do it again...

Une bouteille un peu moins ouverte que la précédente, c'est très gourmand mais aussi fin, avec des tanins bien enrobés, une densité et une profondeur qu'apportent les vieilles vignes du domaine. 92-93 pts
