December 23, 2021 - Delicious. Oak was restrained for a CA chard.

April 21, 2021 - Light straw color. White fruit nose with tropical hints; nice. Same on palate with modest oak/vanilla notes and slightly tart acidity. Excellent chardonnay in a restrained style. Drink or hold.

July 17, 2020 - Prior bottle was just over 13 months ago and this wine continues to show quite well. Lightly tart, white orchard fruits on the nose along with a slight creamy, vanilla note. Medium bodied with open, white orchard fruit upfront, gaining depth and accessibility through the middle. Tart lemon and other citrus qualities join with acidity on the backside to provide very good backbone a well as contrast deftly with the roundness and openness of the mid-body fruit. The combination of roundness through the middle with the balancing spine of citrus and acidity made for a very enjoyable bottle. This wine may be at peak, but has life in front of it; drink over the next two years to catch at this highpoint.

April 11, 2020 - Not considerably advanced from my previous note. The Puligny parallels are very much there. Crisp and focussed lemon and green orchard fruits with that lovely saline lift. The oak is certainly there, but the smoky spicy perfume it offers isn't cloying or obtrusive. At times there is almost an apple pie fragrance. This opened up with time in glass so I suspect there will be further development. Very subtle toffee on the long, persistent finish. Delicious.

January 12, 2020 - Vanilla and marzipan on the nose. Quite saline on the palate. Oak showing through nicely. More concentrated with age but still very enjoyable.
