March 13, 2019 - It is the third bottle of the same case in the past three months, and I find the conditions varies quite a lot. The first bottle is youthful with lots of white fruits and flowers, not reviling much before breathing in bottle for 2 hrs. The second bottle is rather dull. The third bottle tasted recently shows some age and is similar to the 2006, with an attractive nose of yeast and biscuits, medium level of acidity to keep it clean and refreshing. It's a champagne I'd say is traditional and masculine.

March 25, 2018 - medium body, good concentration, white cake, yeast notes, touch of new oak not yet fully integrated, intense, long finish, really nice. at Lost at Sea

    February 2, 2018 - (Disgorged in 2017, 100% Chardonnay from Chouilly Grand Cru, dosage 3 gr/l)
Yellow colour with a stream of fine bubbles and with a youthful nose dominated by cream, ginger and mandarin notes. Palate shows a creamy lime acidity, but dominated by ginger marmalade and with a salty bitterness on the long finish.
This had a special and very pleasant nose and palate at first, but during the evening it feels like the ginger notes are too dominant.

September 26, 2016 - IMW 2016 Champagne - Prestige Tasting (Hyatt, San Francisco): All chardonnay. 100% fermentation on old oak barrels.
    Pale straw.
Green sour underripe apple core. Slight hint of Brett! Light baguette autolysis. green apples.
A bit wild and funky. Slight savory note (oak aging?)
    On the palate:
3g dosage - seems to have ripeness so I don't notice the dosage being exceptionally low, though the sweetness seems to come mid-palate, rather than on the tip of the tongue (which is more common with RS).
Medium minus finish. Quite nutty - almond skins on the finish.
High acid, seems to have undergone malo.
